Dyson have put their experience in standard cyclone vacuums into a handheld unit, and have created something that looks like a robotic weapon of the future. This version is in silver ("steel") and yellow, and is fully rechargeable, with a quick recharge time (claimed as 3 times quicker than others) and a 6 minute run time at full power. It also comes with a "combination accessory tool" to reach those hard to get to places that make a handheld vacuum so useful in the first place!

As with Dyson’s mains vacuum cleaners, the DC16 Handheld cleaner doesn’t lose suction, by using its patented Root Cyclone technology, which ensures the dirt is spun into the clear bin. A quick recharge of the 21.6V lithium ion battery – 3 times faster than others – and a combination accessory tool ensures hard to reach places are cleaned in no time. The DC16 is easy to empty: one touch opens up the bin, so there’s no touching, while the lifetime filter can just be washed every few months.
